character education

Our Family Foundation strongly encourages public and private schools to focus on character education.

One of the best places to start this process is to log on to www.character.org and see what great resources are available from the Character Education Partnership (CEP).

Officers of our foundation have had direct contact with two schools that have been named National Schools of Character by CEP.  One is an elementary school in Shorewood, Wisconsin, and the other is a residential private high school in Estes Park, Colorado.  Both are excellent models and worthy of review by any school considering a formal character education program.  Go to http://www.shorewood.k12.wi.us/page.cfm?p=2762 and www.eaglerockschool.org for more information about both of these outstanding programs.
